Our spiel is named after the man who brought wheelchair curling to the Cape and who helped grow the sport both locally and internationally. Tony Colacchio was a coach and a mentor to many, but above all else, he was a friend. He welcomed all with an open heart and open arms (the man really gave the best hugs)! Whether you were competing on the international stage, or just trying to throw your first stone, Tony let you know that you belonged to this greater community of Curlers. He found ways to make each person whose life he touched feel as though they were special and appreciated.

We are honored to continue the work that Tony started, as we support and promote the growth of the sport and the community, both locally as well as across the region and beyond.

As a truly lovely man was known to say.... The beat goes on.
